removed from service pending investigation

from il. two coworkers held out of service without given specific reason by major airline. employees have no history of discipline. supervisor responsible stood by and took no action during time in question, even when asked by dismissed employees. do these two dedicated employees have any options to get back to work asap????

Suspension

Most people are employees at will and have no employment contracts or union contracts that protect them. That means that a boss can fire them or suspend them at will for any legal reason other than discrimination on the basis of such things such as race, color, creed, etc. or no reason at all. If there is an employment contract, or a union, that's different. The case could also be different if there is a set company policy being violated.
