What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas

I work at a bank and overhead one of the other employees bragging about how she entered the country illegally and purchased her social security card in a small town in Texas. Can I legally obtain her social security number from company records in order to report this? Thank you!!

Not employment records specifically, but we do have access to account information which includes social security numbers

And I'd guess nobody is supposed to access those records unless they are authorized and there is a specific business reason for doing so. I think you're playing with fire.

I strongly suggest you tell your supervisor and/or HR what you heard and then leave the matter up to them.
