OK, can someone pls give even some general quidelines.
My employer is in TX, I am in CA.
I have resigned, they owe me for commisions and bonus,
I have documentation to back up comm. and bonus.

I have company equip. that has approx. same value as what
they owe me. They are now requesting return of equip. and
stating that they do not owe me any comm. and bonus.

Can I keep the equip. as I pursue settlement thru the TX
employment commision.?

Possession

I don't know the law on this, but you would be making a mistake to return the property until the dispute is resolved.
