I live in Ohio. I wrote a resignation letter and left after it was given to my employer. I have been told that I cannot collect the sick time that I accrued because I did not give a proper notice. To the best of my knowledge there is nothing in the policy manual that states this. Also, I did not take a copy of the policy manual with me when I left. May I request that I be sent one for my personal use? thank you.
