MICHIGAN - at what point does a salary paid employee start to receive overtime pay? We currently have no written policy on this and it have never been addressed. I work a great deal of overtime (20 hrs or more a month) and never has my boss offered overtime pay. I haven't asked because I always thought you do not receive overtime when you are salary.
