I have been layed off by my employer. I did receive a severance package that consisted of several weeks salary, but am not entitled to receive any future commissions that are ongoing from my only sale I had closed with them. Is there any rights for me to obtain the commissions that I was responsible and closed myself? If they give me two months salary severance, then should I not be given the commissions that accompany them and /or possibly more/longer? Thanks in advance for any insight.
