My boss tells us at the end of our shift whether we have to stay for overtime or not. I have arranged with a co-worker to swap picking up our kids from the daycare in order to be able to stay every other week. However my boss has informed me if I leave two more times at 5:10 (scheduled day ends at 5:00) I will be terminated. The daycare closes at 5:30. I don't want to lose my job or my kids to CPS! Can they force overtime with no notice? Soon to be Canned in Texas.
