What is the name of your state? Nevada

I am an undergrad student and I have an opportunity to join some company as a part timer (intern) for some pocket money salary (low teen/hour) Would you think it would be reasonable to sign a non-compete agreement for 2 years/whole US territory? Or should I ask my employer to postpone this document until I join them as a full time worker (which I plan to do)?
