my son is from n.y. and was working on a farm. he had to go to the doctor because of heart attach syptems. doctor put him out of work on med for 1 week to see how things went, after putting him through tests. son had this in writing for boss. Boss told him he had a week to get back to work. son went back to doctor in 5 days because condition processed, dr. put him out for another 2 weeks. son tried to get temp. disability papers to get filled out from boss and boss fires him, before the first week was up. son told boss he would return to work if it met keeping his job, no matter what dr. said. boss said no. son signed for unemployment and boss told them son quit his job. not only this but boss didn't pay son for last days he worked. he said it went toward sons rent. son lived in a tenent house while working on the farm, but that was supposed to be part of the wage, amounting to $250 a month. son got messed over big time by old boss. this happened in april. sence than he is working but got behind in bills because of time off and no pay that was due. is there anything he can do.
