MY RESPONSE: The two-year limitations period prescribed by Ca Civ Pro § 335.1 (effective 2003) applies to claims for wrongful termination. The cause of action accrues at the time of dismissal; i.e., at the time of actual termination, not when the employee is notified of his or her termination. [See Romano v. Rockwell Int'l, Inc. (1996) 14 Cal.4th 479, 501, 59 Cal.Rptr.2d 20, 33; Barton v. New United Motor Mfg., Inc. (1996) 43 Cal.App.4th 1200, 1209, 51 Cal.Rptr.2d 328, 333]

2) Employer to File Charges against a former employee, for embezzelment.

MY RESPONSE: This question belongs on the criminal law forum.
