What is the name of your state? Nebraska

I was employed in the State of Missouri through 2005. I moved to Nebraska in 2006 where I still currently reside. I recently received a subpoena to appear in the St. Louis Circuit Court as a witness for my former employer for a lawsuit against them. Am I required to attend since I am out of state ?

Thanks.

You don't have todo anything, but if you fail to appear in obedience to a subpoena, may be cited for contempt of court and you could also be liable for damages sustained by the aggrieved party.
