What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Utah
Can someone have you meet them somewhere and have a hiden tape recorder on then and ask you questions and tape the conversation without telling you that your being recorded? And use it to fire you?

Utah is an employment at will state. So they can fire you WITHOUT recording you, or using it.

Utah is a one party consent state. So only one party need consent to the recording. and apparently, they did.
