I was employed through a temporary agency. Our supervisor has been letting people go for talking about other employees. I told him I had heard some pretty nasty things being said about me it upset me and brought on a migrane headache so I needed to go home. He said he would check into it and that it was OK for me to go home. The next morning my job was terminated. Can he do that and do I have any rights as a temporary employee

Unless you were covered by FMLA, and if you were working through a temp agency it's unlikely that you were, yes, he can terminate you for going home even though you were told you could.

Ask the temp agency to place you with another firm.
