My boss laid me off temporarily due to equipment failures. I applied for temporary unemployement compensation and when he was notified of my claim, he claimed I abandonded my job and now refuses to pay me for the last 2 days I worked and he is threatening to release me from our agreed contractual employement agreement because he is angry because I filed for unemployment benefits.
What are my rights and how do I get my wages? I was a salaried emloyee.
I work for Camelot Desserts in Houston, Texas
