What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
I am working in NY and living in NJ.
now, my company dont pay my salary at regular time as per agreement and around 8 times their check was bounce back too. now i was working at their client site but they terminated the contract with my company and now they want do contract with me. i am still with my company and i want to leave my company and start the contract through third party with them.

i have all bounce check copy too. also they did not pay me bonus as per promise and thats also in return document too. and my company and their old client dont have any contract regarding my work too.

so in my agreement they wrote that you can not work for their client, directly, indirectly or through third party but its not mention how much duration. so please help me regarding this what should i do?

1. If you still have outstanding unpaid wages, you contact the state DOL about filing a wage complaint.

2. For the agreement, you have it reviewed by an attorney versed in contract and employment law. We cannot comment on a document we have not reviewed in its entirety. Plus, noncompete laws can vary dramatically by state.
