What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? St. Louis, MO
I was put on suspension and terminated on December 1st. Company policy dictates that insurance coverage will cover you till the end of the month you are termed. I found out that the company had actually terminated my the last day of November. My daughter has had alot of medical issues that cost well over 250,000 in the last year. I believe that they changed the day to avoid any addition medical expense.
When I filed a complaint with human resources, she told me that they can terminate me any day they want while on suspension. My termination papers are on December 1st.
