Looks like no one has rights.... Like ****s Germany or USSR...You can be fired or "artificially" lay off only because your boss don't like you....
Is there is any law in our country to protect workers rights, protect us from hypocracy and office politics?

Yes, as a matter of fact there are a number of laws protecting the worker. But the employer has rights also, and one of those rights is to hire and fire the people he sees fit.

The employer CANNOT fire someone BECAUSE OF their membership in a group protected by law (race, gender, national origin etc.). HE CANNOT fire someone because they have asserted a protected right. But he CAN fire someone that they feel is a detriment to the workplace, even if the worker thinks that is unfair. Unfair is not illegal.
