I DONT KNOW IF I'M ON THE RIGHT BULLETIN BOARD OR NOT...?
I WORK FOR A MAJOR AIRLINE. I HAVE HAD TO REPORT SAFETY, AND FEDERAL AVIATION REGULATION VIOLATIONS AGAINST MANAGERS AND COWORKERS. I WORK IN THE AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT.
I AM NOW BEING TARGETED FOR HARRASSMENT FROM BOTH CO-WORKERS, AND MANAGERS. DUE TO THE FACT THAT MY "WHISTLE-BLOWING" WAS NOT HELD CONFIDENTIAL, I HAVE BEEN THREATENED AND INTIMIDATED BY MANAGEMENT TO FOLLOW THEIR GUIDELINES INSTEAD OF FEDERAL REGULATIONS.
I ALSO HAVE A HEART CONDITION THAT CAUSES ME TO SUFFER ANXIETY, AND WORK RELATED STRESS SYMPTOMS WHEN CONFRONTED BY THESE "TORMENTORS".
I HAVE ACTUALLY HAD TO CALL 911 TO ASSIST ME WHEN A CO-WORKER STARTED YELLING AT ME FOR DOING MY JOB THE WAY I THOUGHT IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE. THE MANAGER ON DUTY LATER TOOK ME TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM FOR WHICH I ENDED UP HAVING TO PAY OUT OF MY OWN POCKET. MY PERSONAL PHYSICIAN LATER THAT DAY PRESCRIBED TRANQUILIZERS TO HELP ME COPE WITH THE ANXIETY.
WITHIN THE LAST WEEK I HAVE BEEN WARNED TWICE THAT PEOPLE WANT ME GONE. ONCE BY A MANAGER, ONCE BY A CO-WORKER WHO WAS RELUCTANT TO INFORM ON THOSE HE CONSIDERS MY ENEMIES.
I'M JUST TRYING TO DO MY JOB RIGHT AND GET ALONG WITH EVERYONE. BUT IF I HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF A DELIBERATE VIOLATION, AND DO NOTHING, THIS MAKES ME AN ACCESSORY TO THE VIOLATION. REPORTING THE VIOLATION IS A REQUIREMENT OF THE FAR'S.
