What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Arizona. I have taught in the same school now for 12 years. A new principal has given me my first negative evaluation in the 12 years I have been there. As part of an improvement plan she wants me to video tape my self teaching 2 classes, showing specific criteria she has listed. I am to turn the tapes over to her. Is this not a violation of my civil rights or constitutional rights, because she could then use the tapes in any procedure to fire me if she does not feel I met the criteria. Would this not be a form of sel-incrimination although there is no criminal act?
