What is the name of your state? Florida

Can I draw unemployement for more than 6 months? Get an extension or something since I worked for the company for nine years? If this is true, 6 months only, and now extension's, can I draw unemployment from another state that I worked in before I moved here and never have drawn from that state?

Most likely not, unless extended benefits are available due to the Trade Readjustment Act. The length of time you worked for an employer has no bearing on the length of time you can collect UI. And no, you can't jump from state to state collecting benefits.

What's the matter with trying harder to find another job?
