i was recently fired from a job and i have been collecting unemployment benifits.i just recieved a letter stating that there is a hearing being held for possible fraud.the company i worked for has said that i quit.i was oringinally laid off due to lack of work with no return date.it was a lay off i volenteered for.i went back 3 weeks later for 1 day when my mother was diagnosed with cancer.when i didnt return the next day i was told i was fired.i have been collecting since the 10 of april.i need to know if i should get an attorney to represent me.thank you very much for your time.i live in the state of connecticut.
