Unemployment Extension

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NEW JERSEY

To whom it may concern,

I am at the end of collecting unemployment. The House of Representatives and Congress passed an extension of unemployment. Since Congress finally moved and signed the bill does the president have to make it a law for the 23 states that are hit hard especially New Jersey. I am not sure on how the law works but I'm one of the frustrated individuals bogged down in the recession. Any ideas?

If you are eligible the unemployment will automatically extend. I had to re certify but it didn't hold up any payments whatsoever.
