I work at a local restarant and there is a flier posted in our work area which states that we receive time and a half for holidays and specifically states that on July 4th we get it. However, after working my shift I was told that they don't go by that sheet, and we weren't going to be compensated more than our standard wage. Is this legal and what should I do about it?
