if an employer terminates you and you were employed for the whole quarer do they have to pay you the bonus? also what constitutes not paying unemployment to me?

We need to know what state you worked in to answer the bonus question. However, in most states, there is no requirement to pay an earned bonus after termination if the bonus plan states that the person must be employed at the time of the payment.

Regarding unemployment, in 99.9999% of the cases you cannot get UI benefits if you quit. If you think you might qualify, just go ahead and file. It costs you nothing except a little time.
