I resigned from my position in Maryland, am I entitled to be compensated for my vacation days for this year?

Your entitlement to vacation pay for the period you worked depends on company policy or your employment contract, if you had one.

If your company had an employee manual or other policy book that states the policy, that would determine the question. Otherwise, the customary way the company handled vacation pay would determine it.

Most companies that pay employees for vacation days not taken, do pay employees for vacation days not taken when they leave the company.
