virginia. my employment handbook says I don't get paid accrued vacation if I am terminated for cause or if I don't give two weeks notice. is that legal?
Allowing paid vacation is optional with the employer; therefore, the employer can place restrictions on the right to vacation pay. The restrictions you mention are valid and within the employer’s discretion.
