I am paid for what I do. Underwater work. Sometimes jobs that are assigned to me are not done because of reasons other than my own. Therefore, my pay is effected. Is there a minimum wage designated to cover the hours I am at work even though I get paid only for what I do? If I am at work for 5-6 hours and only complete one job which earns me maybe $35.00, isn't there a California statute protecting me? Also, if terminated, dosen't the employer have to pay all wages due immediately?
