What is the name of your state? Georgia
My husband was terminated from a new position (aprox 1 month) back in April. At the time of his termination he had worked over 20 hours in the current pay period. He did not recieve a check for those hours with his termination notice. He has contacted the employer twice since then and he still has not received a check for those hours that he worked. How long after termination does the employer have to issue payment for hours worked?

Georgia has no law that addresses when final wages must be paid however in those States with no such regulation, the courts have generally upheld that final pay is due no later than the employer's next regularly scheduled pay day. Your husband should contact GA's Department of Labor and file a complaint.
