Whistle Blower Law for Private Sector Employees?

I know there are whistle blower laws for federal and California State employees. Are there whistle blower laws that protect private employees who report misuse of Federal funds or violation of Federal statutes regulating the use of Federal funds by private programs receiving Federal contracts?
