What is the name of your state? VA and WA

If you've been working for an employer for a while and now you are found guilty of a misdemeanor charge, will you be fired if the employer finds that out?

Thanks!

Legally there's nothing preventing it. Will someone be fired? Depends on the offense and the boss.

WILL you be fired? There's no possible way for us to know that. It depends on the employer and any connection between your job and the offense.

CAN you be fired? In many, but not all, circumstances, yes.
