I have worked in a company for about two weeks. Then emergency came up and I had to leave the job. Now I cannot get the salary from the employer for the two weeks I worked for them. They justified their reason as short of advance notice of job termination. Is it legal for them not to pay what I have earned? Or I am liable for any "damage" made to the company because my leaving? Please advise! Thanks
