What is the name of your state? oregon

I was convicted for "unlawful use of food stamps" around 13 years ago, will this prevent me from being hired by my our school district. This is my only mark on my record, and I know that it will show up on a background check. I was not jailed - ordered to pay fine $500. and pay back $335.00.
Thank you
Chris

The only one who can answer that question is a representative from the school district. No one here can know how they will feel about it.
