I just received a written warning for excessive absenteeism. I am entitled to 12 time bank days which I used. However one week of that time was used for an illness due to my pregnancy I have provided a doctor's note for the one week of sick time I used for that illness. I later miscarried. Can I be written up for this?

Unfortunately, you can be written up for that.

An employer may not single out pregnancy related conditions for special procedures to determine an employee's ability to work. However, an employer may use any procedure used to screen other employees' ability to work.
