What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Maryland

I was let go from my company after 3-1/2 yrs, told nothing, I understand that MD is an "at will" state, I received a letter of recommendation that stated my position was eliminated when it was actually not. It was pre-meditated that I was being replaced with someone's ex-wife that wasn't happy with her current job. Is there really nothing I can do?

What you describe, while possibly unfair, does not come even remotely close to meeting the definition of wrongful termination. If by "anything you can do" you mean any kind of legal action, you're right, there really is nothing you can do.
