What is the name of your state?Michigan
On No.15,2004 My father-n-law had quadruple-bi-pass surgery. On Nov.17th2004 I had called into work to let them know I would not be there due to complications of the surgery.I was fired on that day, because they said it was unexcused absence.According to the Maple Manor Nursing Center and Union Handbook It states "more than 3 unexcused absences, employee will not be allowed back to work without a doctors slip"I was never givin the opportunity ,for I was fired the first day.Is this condsidered wrongful termination?and or breech of contract??I do have all documentation to prove this.Is there anything I can do?????????
Thank-you,
Lori V.W.
