My daughter worked as a manager of a national clothing chain in Oregon. She was fired for telling a co-worker she had alcohol at work. She didn't, of course. The co-worker initiated the conversation by asking her such a ridiculous question that my daughter responded by saying "Yeah, right!" The co-worker turned her in and may now have the manager's position. My daughter's character and reputation are damaged. She was such a bad employee that they made her assistant manager of the month (for the whole Northwest) twice in the past 8 months. She doesn't drink or smoke and is always the designated driver.
