Im a union member working for a contractor out side of my home local jurisdiction,the contractor has plenty of work for me and wants to keep me employed,but,the contractor only has work in there jurisdiction,not in my home local jurisdiction,thy have asked the business agent from there local if i can work in there jurisdiction and he refuses to let me work,so now the contractor is forced to lay me off,is this legal?
