Fire damage

What is the landlord responsible for when there is a fire due to faulty wiring?

As far as the homeowners' insurance is concerned, The landlord is responsible for repairing the building property and any other items rented with the home. The policy will likely cover Loss of rents to the LL for the time of repairs until the tenant can move back in.
