Not really.
Corporate america is in control.
A++ rated companies are said to pay up quick and easy, but not all companies are a++ rated,
Which company is it? |

| | | i have an agent but she says it's up to the udjuster she won't even return my phonecalls . now after 4 months the adjuster wants another contractor to come in and give me another price which is crazy we are down to the end of the work all that needs to be paid for is the contractors who did the work the plumber has to replace all the plumbing and countertops need to be installed and paid for, you see the job had to be done in steps. the kitchen needed to be gutted but they send very little money at a time even though the contractor has waited months to get paid. |

| | | Mutual insurance companies can be particularly difficult to deal with.
Find out which bureaucrats (and Vermont has more than its share!) in your state capital regulate these critters.
Then complain.

As a independant insurance agent in NY I concur.
Nothing more really. |

| | | Yes, complain to your state's department of insurance. No, they are not required to give you money to make your living room ceiling the same texture as the kitchen ceiling, but I would have used that money to pay for a new stove.
