How long should it take a HO ins co to respond to a claim?

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida.

I filed a claim with my HO insurance co for roof damage. It's been a little over a month since I filed the claim and nearly 4 weeks since the adjuster looked at my roof.

The adjuster said he'd send in his report and the co would send a letter within 2 weeks of receiving his recommendation.

Is there a time frame in which they should reply?
