About 2 months ago, we had a drainage pipe burst in our house. We called the insurance company immediately. Since that time, we have gotten the run around. We have finally gotten the drain pipe repaired. When the ins. co. sent out the check for the plumber, they told us as soon as the pipe was repaired, they would send out an adjuster to assess the damage to the flooring and mold/midlew damage. After the pipe was fixed, we called to let them know. After more than a week of calling, we finally got told that they would be sending an adjuster to the house. (Over the past 2 months our kitchen base cabinets have gotten completely ruined, and we had to move out 3 weeks ago because of the mold issues.) Now they are saying that the check they sent to the plumber was for flooring and plumbing. And they are saying that everything else is a long term condition and therefore not covered. We never signed any agreement or anything. Is there anything we can do?
