Ok, I've finally talked to my insurance agent and she has assured me that she has received no payment from my title company for the first year premium. So now I'm waiting to hear back from the title company to see what records they have produced from the bank and find out where the check for $1808 was sent and if it was cashed. Now my here's what my agent sent to me today...

" Ok, when we first wrote the application it was issued at 1808. We never received payment from the mortgage company. Policy was cancelled and had to be rewritten. When we rewrote it, the premium had increased due to rate changes. The correct premium was 1938.00. The first policy covered you for several months leaving a balance of 282.05, then on the rewritten policy there is a balance due for a couple months on that one 281.00. We never received payment for that one as well. Then I rewrote the homeowners as a Rental dwelling and we billed the 1479.00 to the mortgage company but we've yet to receive payment. Please let me know if you understand this email"

Ok my mortgage company paid her $1479 today, plus a escrow advance of $355 making my escrow account negative $728... how much do I actually owe my agent now?? how much does she owe me?? I was never informed that a new policy had to be rewritten, I didn't find out about any of this until I changed my insurance policy last month. This is crazy!!
