Washington. We had a fire 2 years ago. The meter
box outside our house was exposed to the winter
weather for 2-3 weeks. Ever since we have had
lots of problems with the power coming into our
house. Had a power company repairman come out
to look at the meter and he saw a very corroded
neutral wire. For safety reasons ( we were afraid
of another house fire) we had the meter box re-
placed. Will an insurance company reimburse you
for this? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

No, they won't. They only pay for damage you have already been subjected to.

did he fix the wire? If not, why?
