alien resident marriage

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? virginia

I am a legal alien resident here in America and I've been here for 2 years.. My boyfriend and I are planning to get married in the Philippines.. Will it affect my status? Will he be granted privileges to enter the States?

Getting married will not impact your status as an LPR.
You are eligible to petition for your spouse (see form I-130) which will put him in a line to apply for an Immigrant Visa.
He will have to wit for an Immigrnat Visa number to become available to him; the wait is currently 4 to 5 years for the category of 'spouse of an LPR'.

If you naturalize to US citizen status, a visa number will become immediately available for him and he can start his visa application after your oath ceremony. The process takes about 6-8 months from that time.
