I am a U.S. permanent resident and would like to bring in an au pair from my native country to teach the language to my two-year old. I understand that there is an exchange visitor/au pair program that has certain age requirements and requires a category J visa. Does anyone know what the age and other requirements are for getting a category J visa for an au pair an how long it takes to obtain one?
