What is the name of your state? Illinois

A friend had a daughter in the US 2 months ago. She is here on a valid 2 year multiple entry visitors visa. She flew to London without her daughter on Friday but on her way back on Sunday was denied reentry to the US. She is being processed to be deported, the reason is unclear as she was in tears when we spoke but she has done nothing wrong. Immigration has asked her daugther to be brought to her before 11 am tomorrow so she can go back with her mother.

Her daughter is a US citizen. Is there any way the deportation can be stopped?

Thanks in advance!

"The reason is unclear"
Not really. A "visitor's visa" is for short visits to the US of less than 6 months. A 2-year visa merely means she can apply for a 6-month entry during those 2 years; not that she can live in the US for 2 years. She is not allowed to go 'home' for a weekend and re-start her "visit" in the US and she was probably refused entry for being an immigrant without the correct documentation.

Now that she is in removal (if she is), there are few remedies. It's not clear whether she was 'refused entry' or is being deported/removed. They are very different things.

Who's the father of the baby? And why does she want to come back to the US?

The child can not help her immigration-wise until the child is 21 years old.
