What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Kentucky

Unfortunately my current J1 advisor is a monster and I want to change to another institute. I have already found a new sponsor and they are in process of sending me new DS-2019. However, to transfer the J1 sponsorship my university needs the advisor to sign a paper indication that he has no objection to this transfer. Then they sign the new papers and things go forward. My current J1 end date is mid April. Now I have these questions:

1- if my advisor for any reason, just to hold me down, wants to terminate my program without singing this no-objection form, does it jeopardize my stay in the US? i know that upon termination I should leave immediately! Do I have any chance to stop him from doing this?

2-if I dont tell him anything until my current end date approaches! and then ask the new institute to process my new DS2019, can I be legally staying in the US for 30 days and continue with the new employer? On my passport its stamped that the 2-year rule does not apply to me because im from Iran.

3-Can I change my visa to H1B? if I can when should I do this, before or after my J1 end date? my new sponsor will be a university too. Or can I apply for H1B and terminate my J1 afterwards without jeopardizing my legal stay in the US? Will i be eligible to work immediately with new sponsor or I should wait until the answer for H1b comes?

4-if I apply for greencard now, can I change my J1 sponsor in meantime? I want to apply for greencard and I waited until new sponsor issue my DS, but now I think this could be one way to go to stop my bad advisor affecting my situation.

You seem very confused about US immigration rules regarding H1B status (you cannot apply for H1B visa, only your employer; you may work on H1B only after being approved to do so) and green cards (few qualify on the basis of self sponsorship; you would require an evaluation by an attorney to determine if you meet minimum qualifications). Your current sponsor is not required to release you.

Based on your questions, I believe you would be best served by consulting an immigration law specialist for a personal discussion because answering your questions in the detailed required is too tedious for a forum. Since a mistake can have adverse consequences, an attorney consultation is in your best interests.
