What is the name of your state? TX
My brother is currently in H1B status. He works here and in the process of applying employment based green card. Some days ago he got caught at a hotel because of buying "escort service" (not the legal type of service).
He implicitly asked his immigration attorney about the situation. The attorney suggested that he should find another law firm to deal with the criminal issue first, because the company my brother works for is also the client of this immigration attorney, and so they will have the obligation to inform the company about what happen.
Does any one know whether this type of illegal record will be a problem for applying green card? Is there anyway to solve the problem?
Thanks in advance.
