I am F1 student.currently I am on OPT and my VISA expires on May 2013. I am getting married by NOV 2012 in INDIA and my wife is coming here by F1 VISA.
Please let me know whether we can apply for F2 for my wife immediately after her arrival in US or she have to complete atleast her 1st semester in the University so as to maintain her F1 status for some time and then convert to F2.?
In case, if she can apply for F2 immediately after entering US, please let me know what are the things to do?
