F1 to GC without H1..

Hi,

I would like some advice in this case. I graduated in engineering in oklahoma and started my MBA without taking OPT. I graduate from my masters in April 2012. I have an offer from a startup corporation that has been in business for 1 year but is agressively expanding.
They have agreed to sponser my GC without even going to H1b. I was searching different forums and found out that it is possible. But what are the consequences and what should i expect.

It is possible but probably not likely in your case if you will graduate with a MBA in 2 months. You will not be able to have a green card in 2 months, obviously. The employer can certainly start the process of petitioning for you but the process will take about 1.5 years minimum before you get a green card, assuming all goes with the minimal processing times and you will not be able to stay in the US or work until that happens UNLESS you have either OPT to tide you over or a H-1B.
